Baaghi 4 (2025) – Review

Baaghi 4 marks the Hindi film debut of director A. Harsha, and it takes the franchise in a darker, psychological direction while retaining its signature action-heavy core. Starring Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Sonam Bajwa, and Harnaaz Sandhu (making her Bollywood debut), the film is an unofficial remake of the Tamil hit Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu (2013).

Unlike the earlier Baaghi films, this installment focuses on Ronny’s emotional collapse after surviving a horrific train crash. Grappling with trauma, survivor’s guilt, and the blurred line between memory and reality, Tiger Shroff delivers one of his most intense performances yet. The action sequences are stylized and brutal, but what truly elevates the film is its psychological edge—keeping viewers guessing whether Ronny’s experiences are real or a figment of his fractured mind.

Sanjay Dutt brings gravitas in a pivotal role, while Sonam Bajwa impresses with her screen presence. Harnaaz Sandhu, in her debut, adds freshness to the cast. With slick visuals, hard-hitting stunts, and a surprisingly emotional narrative, Baaghi 4 feels like both a continuation and a reinvention of the franchise.

Verdict: A bold, gripping entry in the Baaghi series that blends action, emotion, and psychological drama—making it stand out from its predecessors.

Baaghi 4 – Full Story

Opening

The film begins with a devastating train crash sequence. Hundreds die, but miraculously, Ronny (Tiger Shroff) survives. Bruised and traumatized, he regains consciousness amid wreckage, clutching onto memories of Riya (Harnaaz Sandhu), the woman he loved. But when he searches for her, he finds no trace. Everyone—including medical staff and authorities—deny she was ever with him.

The Trauma

Ronny becomes withdrawn, haunted by flashes of Riya’s laughter, her touch, and moments of love they shared. He spirals into guilt and self-destruction, blaming himself for her “death.” But the more he seeks answers, the more reality around him begins to blur.

His best friend Kabir (Sanjay Dutt) tries to support him, but even Kabir questions whether Riya was real or just a figment of Ronny’s imagination.

A Stranger Appears

Just as Ronny begins to lose hope, he encounters Dr. Anika (Sonam Bajwa), a psychiatrist who takes an interest in his condition. She encourages him to fight his inner demons, but her sessions unlock deeper, more dangerous memories.

Ronny remembers Riya telling him she was being followed. He recalls cryptic warnings, suspicious men, and a sense that she was hiding something big.

The Conspiracy

Ronny investigates further and learns about a corporate cover-up linked to the train crash. Documents hint that the accident wasn’t accidental—it was orchestrated to silence whistleblowers. Shockingly, Riya was one of them.

The deeper he digs, the more dangerous it gets. Masked men attack Ronny in brutal action set-pieces, trying to stop him. But his martial arts fury makes him unstoppable, earning back his “Baaghi” spirit.

The Twist

Ronny finally discovers the truth:

  • Riya was real.
  • She had uncovered sensitive data about a massive scam involving the company behind the train project.
  • On the day of the crash, she was with him but abducted moments before impact.

The accident was used as a distraction to erase her existence.

The Revelation

Kabir, Ronny’s supposed friend, is revealed to have been part of the conspiracy. He manipulated Ronny, feeding his doubts to keep him from discovering the truth. This betrayal shatters Ronny—but also fuels his rage.

The Climax

In a high-octane finale, Ronny storms the villain’s fortress-like headquarters. Using a mix of parkour, hand-to-hand combat, and daring stunts, he annihilates wave after wave of guards. The showdown with Kabir (Sanjay Dutt) is emotionally charged—two men who were once brothers-in-arms now locked in a brutal fight.

In the end, Ronny defeats Kabir and rescues Riya, who had been kept alive as leverage.

Ending

Ronny and Riya reunite, but he is left scarred by betrayal and trauma. He realizes his fight will never end, as long as the world is filled with corruption and injustice. The film closes with him walking away into the night—bruised, but unbroken.

Final Shot: A voiceover from Ronny—“A Baaghi never dies… he rises.”
